ALEX RAMIREZ

Alex was born in Mexico; he majored in Physics Engineering at the ITESM in Monterrey, and took his graduate degree at Cinvestav in Mexico city and at Darmstadt TU in Germany. He Joined CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, working on experiments involving NA45 and Na 49 and the development of the Alice experiment for the LHC. His began teaching at ITESM when he was in charge of the physics laboratory and tutored students in algebra and science. Teaching for him requires not only the understanding of topics but also of the students, their abilities and likes, in order to create a method that helps the students understand and appreciate the concepts yielded to them.
